Types of Continuing Education Credit

Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education – ACPE

Premier is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as provider of continuing pharmaceutical education. This activity is eligible for ACPE credit; see final CPE activity announcement for specific details. Contact Jerry Frazier for more information.

Association for Healthcare Resource and Materials Management – AHRMM

An application for continuing education credits through the Continuing Education Committee of the Personal Memberships Groups of the American Hospital Association (AHA) and the Association for Healthcare Resource & Materials Management (AHRMM) will be submitted for approval for this conference.

American Society for Clinical Laboratory Society ASCLS

Premier Inc. is approved as a provider of continuing education programs in the clinical laboratory sciences by the ASCLS P.A.C.E.® Program.

American Society for Healthcare Risk Managers – ASHRM

Credits are being applied for towards the ASHRM designations of Fellow (FASHRM) and Distinguished Fellow (DFASHRM) and towards Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) for this conference.

American Society of Radiologic Technologists – ASRT

Premier plans to apply for continuing education credit for this conference through the American Society of Radiologic Technologists.

Continuing Medical Education (physicians only) – CME

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint providership of CME Outfitters, LLC and Premier. CME Outfitters, LLC is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality – CPHQ

CEUs are being applied for through the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ) for Certified Professionals in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ).

 Foodservice Professionals

Foodservice professional CEUs from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) will be available for registered dietitians and diet technicians, registered. CEUs from the Association of Nutrition and Foodservice Professionals will also be available for certified dietary managers (CDM). Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society – HIMSS

Premier is a HIMSS Approved Education Partner (AEP). Participants in this program may apply the continuing education hours toward his/her CAHIMS or CPHIMS credentials.

Human Resources Certification Institute – HRCI

An application for continuing education credits through the HR Certification Institute will be submitted for approval for this conference.

National Association of State Boards of Accountancy – NASBA

Premier is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Nursing contact hours

Premier will submit this activity for nursing CEUs through the Ohio Nurses Association (OB N-001-91). The Ohio Nurses Association is accredited as an approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Centers Commission on Accreditation. American College of Healthcare Executives – ACHE

Participants may self-report attendance to be considered for ACHE credit.

ACHE Qualified Education credit must be related to healthcare management (i.e., it cannot be clinical, inspirational, or specific to the sponsoring organization). It can be earned through educational programs conducted or sponsored by any organization qualified to provide educational programming in healthcare management. To self-report ACHE activities, participants must log into their MyACHE account and select ACHE Qualified Education Credit.
